'Square City Comics' is a self-publishing comic (graphic novel, web comic, etc.) group based in the greater Washington, DC area. We are a handful of artists and writers who meet at least once a month to discuss our projects, characters, ideas, problems, etc. Though we each move at our own paces, we are all dedicated to making comics. A comic book club that has meetups at least twice monthly to chat about anything related to comic book culture or have activity based meetups (movies, heroclix, conventions, etc). We love floppies & trades, golden age & modern, superheroes & indies, comic movies & shows, characters & creators, toys & games, spinners & cons. Generally we see movies and have TV nights, meet at comic books stores and coffee shops in and around the northern Virginia / DC Metro area.
